He obtains the Master degree in Building Engineer and the Doctorate degree in “Architecture and Construction” in Rome University “TorVergata” with a research focuses on methods and themes of contemporary design and construction.
Since 2003 he lives in China. He was architectural designer and researcher in Beijing at the Zhongke Architectural design & Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Science (ADCAS) and fellow researcher at the Center of Scientific Studies on Cultural Heritage of Chinese Academy of Science (COSSOCH). He carried out studies both on the urban development of Chinese cities and the Architectural Heritage preservation of the old Beijing.
Currently he is associate senior designer for Zeidler Partnership Architect (Canada representative Office) in Beijing. He is mainly involved in the design of large mixed-use districts in the mayor Chinese cities.
As a member of “Jartrakor International Association, Psychology of Art” he is developing a new theory and advanced methods in architectural design and composition.
In 2012 he founded Metaestetica in Beijing 798 Art Zone
He is author of the book “Beijing, The new City”, published in June 2008 by Skira and Rizzoli-International New York. He is also foreign correspondent (China) of “Compasses” a Dubai architectural design magazine.
